Purpose: Who is the intended audience? Purpose of site?
Objectivity: Fact, opinion or propaganda? Objective and impartial? Free of emotion and bias? Affiliated with an organization? Official approval?
Accuracy: Sources clearly identified and verifiable? Reviewed or refereed? Free of grammatical, spelling and typographical errors?
Reliability and Credibility: Evidence based? What institution supports the content? Have you heard of them before?
Currency: Timely? When was the site updated last?
Once you have identified your sources, write a brief synopsis of each and describe the contribution it will make towards your project. If you are summarizing a research study include the following:
1. What was the purpose the study?
2. Who participated? Describe the subjects in the study. For example, what was the age range?
3. What method was used to collect data? Did they do a survey? Interview subjects? Review charts?
4. What are the main findings or conclusions?I need a total of five (5) articles of which need to be primary based research articles, a component of evidence based research (EBP). I have attached 5 files, but I do not believe all are primary based research articles. My focus is improving quality of health through the education of health care home coordination directed at the healthcare team, patients’ and their families.
