Respond to the question below in 2-3 pages. Your answer MUST be stapled, typed, double-spaced, 12-point in a commonly-used font (like Times New Roman), on standard paper with 1” margins, and should be free of grammatical and spelling errors. The quality of the writing (including grammar) counts. Make sure you have a clear, coherent thesis. Make sure you answer the question. Make sure you cite authors properly (both in terms of format and substance).

This is a difficult assignment. Do not wait until the last minute to get started. Your paper is due on Canvas on by 7pm on Mar. 6. Any papers received after class on that date will be considered late and will be marked down one grade for each day (including weekend days) late. Exceptions to this policy are only granted in the most dire of circumstances and only when documentation is provided.

Plagiarism:

The CSUN catalog defines plagiarism as “intentionally or knowingly representing the words, ideas, or work of another as one’s own in academic exercise.” I do not tolerate plagiarism or academic dishonesty of any kind and I will, at a minimum, give an F for the course to any student guilty of plagiarism. The CSUN catalog also authorizes me to refer the case to the appropriate University officials and seek expulsion of the student from the University. I will exercise that option if I feel it is warranted. Make sure all your work is properly cited and DO NOT represent the work of another as your own.

Question:
According to Stephen Skowronek, how does the concept of “political time” affect presidential power for a particular president? Where do you think Donald Trump fits into the cycle of political time?
