The assignment is worth 150 points.
The writing assignment is an individual assignment. The assignment involves a contemporary issue or topic that is relevant to Diversity & Inclusion in business and industry. You will provide a 5-page paper providing insights and recommendations to address the issue / topic.
With regard to organization and structure, please consider the following.
The Introduction (10-15% of the content): What is the key topic? What is the issue or challenge? What is the burning question? Do you have a hypothesis for this question?
Facts and Relevant Research Findings (25-35% of the content): What does the last research say about this topic? What are key facts and figures? Is the trend upward, downward or stable? What factors influence the trends? What will happen if the trend continues (positive or negative)?
Your Conclusions (20-25% of the content): What conclusions can a reasonable person draw from these facts and figures? Does it answer your burning question? Does it fit your hypothesis or not? Did you identify any best practices / best approaches as it relates to your topic?
Your Recommendations (15-20% of the content): What recommendations can you make? What can / should be done to address the issue or challenge? Be very bold and declarative in your recommendations.
Summary (approximately 10% of the content): How would you summary the most pertinent information from your examination of the topic?
