Beer Distribution Business Case Study
If you were to design an information system to help the business mentioned in the study, what are some examples of data, information, and knowledge that would need to be tracked in the system? (give at least two examples of each)
2.If an information system were to be developed for the case study, what specific information would need to be input into the system, what kind of info or documents would the users need as output, what’s an example of how information would need to be processed, and what information would need to be stored? (write 1-2 paragraphs)
3.Take a look at Figure 2 at the top of page 2 in the case study file. In this diagram, at least eight entities can be identified that would need a corresponding table in a database. What are these eight entities, and what are at least three examples of fields that would be appropriate in each table? (This means you should include at least 24 total field names in your response, three for each entity).
Also, what are three examples of relationships that would need to exist between the entities? Be sure to include which entities would need to be joined, what relationship type would each be, and what would be an appropriate “linking verb” that would describe the relationship if you were to create an Entity Relationship Diagram?
4.Refer back to our Week 11 dropbox assignment and the SDLC exercise we worked on. If you were tasked with developing an information system to meet the needs of the users in this case study, what are some details of its SDLC? Write 2-3 sentences describing the process of each of the five steps of the traditional waterfall method. Make sure your steps are centered mainly around computer software and are specific to this particular case study.
