During the course of the semester you are responsible for turning in 4 (FOUR) news assignments that relate to your assigned country of study.
For the news assignment you must find a relatively new article (within the last 6 months) from a reputable news organization that relates to your country of study. The article should reflect either cultural values, a marketing related issue, or example of how the “flat world” is impacting that country.
Using the attached template to complete the assignment. THIS IS MANDATORY … you will not get full credit if you don’t follow the template!
Included in the template are four items:
1. Source and date of article
2. Link to or copy of article
3. Key points covered in article (do not copy the entire article … reduce it down to the most important issues and points of view that it discusses.
4. Most important part of assignment: Why do you think this is important from point of view of marketing, culture, or “flat world” implications. You must explicitly state which of these you are addressing or you will not get full credit.
