You were
presented with the topic for the research paper and the argument you will be defending. Once
again, the topic was: Is global warming real? And for the research paper you will be asked to
defend the argument that it is indeed real. You will back up this claim by providing references to
resources you picked out that will help aid in defending your argument. Remember everything
must connect. It must lead back to the argument that you are trying to defend.
This is a follow up (next step) of that order. Last time, you were told further instructions will be
provided later on when it is time to write the research paper. You are being provided with the
next step of instructions.
This time you are to do an outline for that research paper before final instructions on the research
paper are provided (The final instructions for the research paper will be provided in the next step
of instructions). Instructions will be provided later on that will specified how long the research
paper is supposed to be and all the small details. But this outline leads up to the writing of that
research paper. The research paper will be based on this outline you create now. Therefore, it is
crucial that you spend a fair amount of time preparing a strong research paper outline that is
flawless.
So having found those ten credible sources last time that you intend to use to defend your
argument that global warming is real, create an outline that consists of the following:
First off, review the Sample Outline (attached as sample), so you get an idea of what this outline
is supposed to look like. Please revise it several times so the outline you prepare look similar to
it. Notice, how the references are written in that sample. Then, following that sample create an
outline for this research paper.

main idea of the paragraph.
