Journal/A good variety of entries make a good journal.:
Keep observations of art in your daily life. “Visuals”such as newspaper or magazine clippings are acceptable entries, but not necessary. Please NUMBER EACH ENTRY. They should total 20. If including an Internet article or artist bio, use a highlighter on important parts and be sure to add a personal comment on the article. About 1 paragraphs each. Make these “short and sweet” show applications of knowledge and/or observation. Include art “vocabulary” where applicable. A good variety of entries make a good journal.
(Suggestions: artist’s biographies; newspaper or computer articles, observational and/or visual examples of concepts studied in class etc.…using camera phones to document observations, a great idea!)
