For instance, the literature on the history of Kuwaiti cinema: what I am supposed to write is:
1) which books are available in the history of Kuwaiti cinema?
2) what ground they cover?
3) how useful what they cover is for my research? What I do instead, is to give an account of the history of Kuwaiti cinema all over again (though a slightly shorter version than the one you wrote for the chapter on this subject). p/s I have written a chapter about the historiography of kuwait cinema where you can take some references besides the literature that I have wrote. For now, could you start rewriting the literature review chapter? It does not have to be as long as it is at present. I will attach samples of the dissertations of two other students who took A in the literature, and you have to write it in a similar way (though a bit too short and summary) literature reviews. You can a look at their literature review chapters. I think it will help you understand how you are to rewrite your own literature review (which, however, should be a bit more extensive than in these two dissertations, which are BA diss, though excellent ones). I also suggest that, before starting to rewrite the lit review chapter, you select from my bibliography in the chapter two (historiography of Kuwait cinema; the books that you want/should to include in your literature review (the main ones for each subject). Make three lists: on the history of Kuwaiti cinema; Then, for every one of the books listed, write a paragraph or two about what they cover, and also, importantly, what they do not cover (their limits). Pointing out the limits of existing literature is important, because it enables you to convince your reader (which will overcomes some of those limits and present new material and arguments) is original and very much needed. I hope this helps.
