Write a 3 page report of the play The Last Days of Judas Iscariot
Report must consist of :
1.Must have introduction paragraph which includes name of performance, venue location, and date attended. State a thesis.
2. Must have conclusion.
3. Do not summarize the events. The purpose of this report is to organize and state your thoughts and opinions with justifications drawn from detailed examples. This report requires critical thinking and grammatical, lucid articulation through writing.
a) What the overall performance was like- the venue, the sets, the audience, the costumes, all the major things presented to you – and also, how you felt about it.
b) What were the ideas expressed in the piece, and how were they presented to you. In what ways were the ideas expressed- through story, language, performance, use of lighting, color, design of sets, costumes. Was it effective? That is to say, did you get it? If not, why not? Justify.
c) What were your personal emotional responses? How did the different aspects of the piece affect you? What specifically made you feel that way? Be specific, justify.
d) Given how we have defined “poetry” in class were there any poetic elements in the production’s language? What about poetic (artistic) elements expressed in mediums other than language? What were they? Were they effectively expressed? Why so, or why not.
e) What did the piece teach you about how to present yourself as a speaker, and relate to things you have been studying in class?
