Description
use the software Archivesspace (http://archivesspace.org/sandbox ) to create at least the followings:One accession record, one resource record, one digital object, one subject and one agent.
The agent can be your own name in authorized form. Please follow the rules in the Part II of DACS in creating an authorized form of your name.
Please link the resource record to the accession record, digital object, subject and agent.
On Canvas, please submit the followings:
Screenshots of all the records you have created
Exported EAD and MARCXML record for your resource record
one or more paragraphs illustrating how DACS informed your description, citing at least three rules from DACS that informed your description. Be sure to use rules starting from page 3 instead of the general principles on pages xv-xix. DACS is available here: http://files.archivists.org/pubs/DACS2E-2013_v0315.pdf
After you finish creating your description, you can use the “Public” interface to see the records you have created.
