Select a specific industry and perform a literature review (the literature has to be within the last 2-3 years)on how three external environmental variables (i.e. economy, demographics, culture) and three industry specific variables (think of Porters five forces) influence organizational performance within the industry. For example, you may select the high tech, hospitality or pharmaceutical industry factors. The purpose of this paper is to make aware of the exogenous factors and the extent that those factors impact firms within an industry.
