Morgan Mobile Phone Technologies has hired you as a global market consultant to advise it on how to extend its market share in the developing nations of Africa. The company has just developed an inexpensive and durable cell phone with a six-hour battery. As the global market consultant, you have been tasked to produce a Communication Marketing Plan (CMP) that will be used by the company to develop various communication campaigns and advertising to promote and market the product in selected African countries. The CMP will used to prepare commercials (radio, television and print), Press Releases, Video Releases, Pitch Letters, and Product Profiles. The CMP should take into account literacy profile, power availability, and other logistical and cultural constraints. The CMP should also consider the demographics and psychographics of the citizens of each nation to justify the choice of communication campaigns. Important elements of the nation’s traditions and culture must also be included in the MP.
