Over the last couple of weeks, we have read about accounting and decision making. We are going to apply these concepts to your idea from week 2. Provide a cost/benefit analysis for your idea. Make sure to mention any sunk or opportunity costs involved in the implementation of this policy as well as the long-term increase in projected profitability. You are permitted to use fictional numbers as far as costs go, but you should provide research to support any opportunity costs or projected profitability. You can find industry averages for various program costs and projected benefits.
This does not need to be written as a formal research paper, but all research provided does need to be cited in APA format. You may write in the first person because you are presenting your own ideas. You do not need to provide an abstract, but you do need an APA formatted title page and reference page. Your paper should be a minimum of 2 pages (approx. 700 words) not including the title and reference.
Please see the attached document for my motivational project provided on week 2. Also, below are some ideas provided on week 3 for the motivational project as well that I would like to have incorporated.
For my motivational project, I would like to incorporate an award recognition program, an incentive program, career advancement opportunities and empower them. Also, I would like to provide a more pleasant workplace. In my current job, I am currently trying to implement a program that recognizes our Marines for their volunteering hours, for everytime our office receives a perfect monthly feedback from Heaquarters Marine Corps. Awarding a Marine with a Letter of Appreciation will not cost the command anything and it will benefit by boosting the moral and the efficiency of the Marines. By doing this, we will show the Marines that we notice every tjing they do and that we value their efforts. I am also trying to implement an incentive granting the Marine 72 hours off from work (friday-sunday or saturday-monday) for every month we receive perfect monthly feedbacks from headquarters. I woild like to some how implement a program were my Marines are empowered on day of the week were they get to be in charge of the officeand come up with new ideas and let them make decisions at the unit level.
