For Assignment 2 you will write an essay that articulates how multimodality is used in Dim O’Gauble, Spaceplan, Clouds over Sidra or The Boat (see links below). We advise spending a bit of time exploring all of these examples before choosing which one you will analyse for the assignment. Your essay should discuss one of these examples, and focus on a specific section that uses multimodality in a particularly engaging way. In your essay you will need to argue how the multimodal experience is created, using academic evidence to support your claims as well as specific examples from the example itself. You must draw on themes and readings from the course so far as well as your own research, and you can also illustrate your argument by using screen shots, time codes or direct quotes from the example.
