I am excited about taking this course because power and influence inside and outside an organization has always interested me. Other than using charm, job knowledge and physical attributes of leadership, how can one effectively influence those around them? I am excited to learn techniques and the psychology behind power and influence and how I may use that to my advantage in the future. Additionally, I would like to be able to identify what techniques are being used to influence me. After taking the quiz, I learned that I am in the “top quartile” with a score of 151. However, I am not sure of the accuracy of this questionnaire. I will rely on the course material to prove how accurate it is and hopefully learn a little about myself throughout.
