New Testament Themes

You will create an 8-10 slide PowerPoint presentation in which you will address the New Testament themes surrounding the work of Christ. You will explain the following terms in your presentation:

• Atonement
• Justification
• Propitiation
• Redemption
• Incarnation

Why and how did Christ accomplish each of these during His time on earth? How might the recognition of the impact of Christ’s work in their own lives inspire Christians in their relationships with non-believers?

You will be expected to include speaker notes that are detailed and cited to support your perspective. You will include a reference slide at the end of your presentation. In your presentation; feel free to use links to video clips, Clip Art, and images to make your presentation more engaging.

Some rules and suggestion to note about PowerPoint Presentations:

• Do not make it too busy. Design it as though the audience would be reading your slides as opposed to only listening to you
• Use animations or slide transitions
• Use a readable 12 pt. font
• Include enough information to make it easy for your audience to follow
• Select a slide theme
