This assignment is a review of a current homeland security event. Analyze the event based on the material covered so far in class. You will prepare three to four pages in length (not including cover page or reference pages) exploring the event and any response to the event. An abstract is not required. Follow the guidelines in either Course Content or in the conference. Review the late policy above. Examples of current events include the recent kidnappings in Algeria or Hurricane Sandy.
This assignment is a review of a current homeland security event. Analyze the event based on the material we have covered so far in class. This assignment must be an event and not an issue. Look for events that have happened. Examples of current events include the kidnappings in Algeria, Boston bombing, Navy Yard shooting, data breaches, Nigerian massacres, NYC Times Square bombing, LA airport shooting, attack on the American Consulate in Benghazi, OPM data breach, or Hurricane Sandy. Make sure you relate the events to what we are studying in this class and follow the rubric.
