1. To share what the relationships are between the physical classroom setting and the learning opportunities available to students in this classroom, sketch a map of the classroom including students seating, learning centers, teacher’s desk, windows, doors, chalkboards, audio-visual and technology equipment, etc. Note where specific curricular activities are located and places where classroom routines are posted. Label your sketch carefully.

2. Compare and contrast one of our site visit programs / video to your current field placement. Refer to characteristics of a high quality program and give one example and how it supports best practices in the early childhood
classroom.

3. select one of the following philosophers to answer this question: Montessori,
Vygotsky, or Malaguzzi. Describe in your own words what this philosopher’s
opinion would be of your classroom. Give specific examples of what he/she
would like or dislike and explain why.
