Operations and Algebraic Lessons
Select a grade level 1-2. Visit four websites that contain math lesson plans focused on Operations and Algebraic Thinking.
Using the four sample lesson plans and the Common Core State Standards for Mathematical Content and class profile as resources, design a new lesson plan using the GCU
COE lesson plan template, located on the College of Education site in the Student Success Center.
Be sure the new lesson plan includes a research-based instructional strategy from the assigned readings as well as promoting one or more of the Standards for
Mathematical Practice from the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics.
Include differentiation for a student with difficulty in perception and attention.
Cite the websites that you used to develop this lesson plan.
APA format is not required, but solid academic writing is expected
