  3. provided a better understanding of your current employer, manager or corporate culture;

  4. provided areas for personal improvement; and

  5. something that you learned that was brand new and how you plan to use it or why it’s important to be cognizant of it going forward in your career.

Part III: LEADERSHIP SELF-ASSESSMENT

CHAPTER 12: LEADERSHIP – Learn about your personal leadership characteristics by completing the attached questionnaire. The questionnaire is designed to provide you with feedback about your level of preference or comfort with leadership characteristics and skills. Take note of your strengths and areas for development (provide your answers to the following two questions). While you should complete the form to obtain your score, only use NYU Classes in the space provided to answer the two questions). Points will be deducted for not following instructions.   Be sure to re-review chapter 12 before responding. Your answer should be a personal reflection via the principles of OB in chapter 12 and other sections of the text, where applicable. I am not solely looking for a stream of consciousness of OB terms, but rather, a thoughtful introspection regarding your leadership characteristics and what you have learned from the chapter and topics we covered.

Use the attachment to answer questions 5-7

  1. What are your strengths?

  2. What are your opportunities for growth?

  3. Are you shocked about the results? What type of leader are you? And, how do you plan to improve your leadership skills?
