This is a final paper for an International Arbitration class, it’s just 6 pages and the deadline is 5 days.
you will find a question in the attached file that named” take home” You should read the question well and then search for the difference between the civil law orientation and the common law orientation in the following:
1. Preparing witness statements and the witnesses themselves (for an evidentiary hearing).
2. Conducting direct and cross-examination of fact witnesses at hearing.
3. Selecting arbitrators.
4- direct and cross-examination of expert witnesses at hearing.
Then after you understand everything you can start to answer the three questions and compare the common law and the civil law orientation in each point
For your information, I am from a civil law country So you must refer to this in the paper like (and being a civil law lawyer or arbitrator the best choice for me is ….” But do not be fanatic to the civil law
