• Discuss the risks or complications associated with PCOS. How does the nurse practitioner manage these complications?
• Women of all ages may present with vaginal bleeding other than menstrual bleeding. What might be causes in the adolescent? In the pregnant woman? In postmenopausal women? Understanding the problem and being able to organize your thinking about differential diagnoses, although challenging, will assist you greatly in clinical practice.
• What questions should you ask the client? Based on your findings, what recommendations would you make to your client as the next step for the following:
• Chronic constipation
• Ovarian cyst
• Ovarian torsion of cyst
