“If you were brought in as a consultant to a community in order to address the criminal justice system within that community. What kinds of issues would you focus on? What are three specific programs or plans you would develop to improve all parts of the system: police, prosecution/courts and corrections/rehabilitation. Remember that these programs must have a benefit for or have a component for each of the parts of the criminal justice system. Discuss these specific ideas in terms of how it will improve and change the system as we know it today. Discuss why you feel these programs are vital to the community. Discuss what some of the roadblocks are which could prevent your implementation. Finally analyze whether the public at large would have to be convinced that the programs are worthwhile and how would you accomplish this?
