Prepare an Outline for Research Proposal

Create an annotated outline for the research proposal due in Week 8. Your outline should reflect the topic you selected (approved by your instructor) and cover the following:

• Background (introduction to topic)
• Literature review
• Supporting theories
• Problem statement
• Purpose statement and intended outcomes of study
• Research question(s)
• Population under study and intended participants
• Data collection method
• References.

Write a brief introductory sentence for each entry in your outline that succinctly describes its intended content.

Length: 1-2 pages.

Support your paper with at least five (5) scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.

Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards. Be sure to adhere to Northcentral University’s Academic Integrity Policy.
