Prepare your most important self-marketing tool:cover later
In LP1.2, you prepare a cover letter for a job in your field that can apply for after graduation. This week you will continue by creating your most important self-marketing tool: your resume. Visit the Career Services lab and read the module on writing a resume.
Write a resume: This should not be a generic or general resume for any position. It needs to be tailored to the job you want. This shows the hiring manager that you are the right person for this position. Be sure to incorporate the key words that you identified in LP01.2. Highlight the key words by putting them in italics or bold (you wouldn’t do this in an actual resume; this is just for this assignment).
Submit a copy of the job posting (do not include the URL in case the position is filled and posting removed before you submit your letter)
