There are School Finance plans to read, videos to watch and samples provided. Please use last slide as a reference slide. Please provide original thoughts and Ideas. The Arizona and Nevada finance plans are just examples. Please use all the Florida documents attached as reference and use any other reference that you find helpful. Please do not overload the slides and provide key info.
Multi-media Presentation on a State Education Finance System
Each student is expected to design an individual or small group presentation (video, PowerPoint, detailed paper, etc.) that describes and evaluates their state’s public education finance plan. (Course Outcomes #1 and #2 – 40 points)
Course Outcomes
1. Differentiate and apply the major components of the state education finance plan that is being implemented in the state in which they plan to work as a school site administrator. (2008 ISLLC Standard 6 – An education leader promotes the success of every student by understanding, responding to, and influencing the political, social, economic, legal, and cultural context.)
2. Analyze the interrelationships between federal, state, local, and outside (private) funding sources. (ISLLC Standard 6 – An education leader promotes the success of every student by understanding, responding to, and influencing the political, social, economic, legal, and cultural context.)
