Problem regarding the global business environment/ HR Management
What began as Personnel, has developed into Human Resources, and is now evolving into People and Culture. Describe the changes in business and society that have driven this evolution, and what the impacts have been on HR practitioners. Critically analyse, with examples, the challenges that HR faces, and will face, in the increasingly global business environment. Illustrate your answer with examples from the hotel sector, and draw analogies with other sectors.
You will be provided with a case study in week 4 as the basis for this assignment. Your report should be 1,500 words maximum.
The report should comprise:

The presentation should be professionally prepared and presented in a role-play format. This is a business report and presentation, and should, therefore be written in an objective manner.
The exam will be a closed book examination in the timetabled period of Week 11/12.
The questions will cover all topic areas covered in the lectures and tutorials, all the named chapters in the textbook and any readings given to students throughout the term.
The format will be three from five essay questions.
