Electronic Data Systems (EDS) was a large technology services company. In 2008, it employed 139,000 people in 64 countries. EDS was purchased by Hewlett-Packard and its name later changed to HP Enterprise Services. For the purposes of this class discussion we will presume the company still exists and operates under that brand name.
