Order Description
The goal for this assignment is to find a disease and write a short description for each part of the disease concept we discussed in class:
Illness or symptoms: what suffering is like, the characteristics of the problem
Patients: who suffers from it; demographics and epidemiology
Name or Diagnosis: what we call it
Outcome or Prognosis: what will happen
Cause: what we think provokes it
Treatment or prevention: what to do to make it go away and not return
After doing this, you must briefly summarize when and how the disease was first identified and discovered
