You address a significant area to focus your proposed advocacy campaign related to stroke prevention.

Your goal is focused related to the target population and how health care providers play an important role in this campaign, for example, in promoting routine screening. I encourage you to increase awareness of this issue and about your campaign in order to get others involved in individual and collective action related to policy change and development in this area.  It is also important to educate others about the proposed campaign in order to gain buy-in from key stakeholders about this significant advocacy campaign that you are developing.  Consider how you will focus your efforts with the target population based on the resources and support available to you. Also think about ways to effectively use social media in your campaign.

As you consider developing your campaign, may want to look at using a pilot program and then evaluating the results. Using formative evaluation, for example, may be helpful as you continue to develop your plan and proposed campaign.
