Reading responses -Reading Responses: You will complete one 800-900 word reading response (about three pages, typed, double-spaced, 1” margins, 12-point font) on one day’s reading assignment during each of the major literary genres we cover (drama, poetry, fiction). You cannot turn in a reading response on a reading we have already discussed in class. Look in the NIL for examples of reading responses in each of the genres. Your response should be delivered in full, grammatically correct sentences and paragraphs free from spelling errors. Though this assignment does not require a thesis statement, the writing should be as clear and thoughtful as possible. You will be allowed to revise and resubmit each of these based on my comments on content and mechanics.
