Relationships between customer needs and design attributes
You are being contracted to design and build a theme park for a leading entertainment franchise. The following is a list of needs for the theme park, supplied by the customer:
1) The theme park should prominently feature each of our five central characters.
2) Patrons should feel like they’re a part of the action – in other words, one of “us” and not one of “them.”
3) The theme park should allow flexibility for promotion of new films, games, or characters.
4) A goal of the theme park should be to sell a lot of our licensed merchandise.
5) The theme park’s employees should always be friendly to patrons.
Given these customer needs, develop a House of Quality for the theme park project including at least:
a) Four design attributes (technical responses), with corresponding technical response measures for each design attribute, as well as relationships between customer needs and design attributes marked on the HOQ diagram?
