This paper’s structure is similar, in many respects, to an “I Search” paper, in that the writer tracks his/her own research, exploration, and analysis of sources through the paper, moving toward the paper’s ultimate claim/thesis.
The major design elements of this paper include: Successful, thorough analysis of 3 or more viewpoint essays or scholarly articles on the subject of gender (retrieved from the library’s Opposing Viewpoints database)), and culminating in a final claim/argument/thesis on the subject of gender as supported by the paper’s sources. All of the above will need to be worked into a 6+ page paper that makes for smooth, engaging reading on the subject.
SPECIFICS: 6+ pages, MLA format, analysis of 3+ sources from the library’s Opposing Viewpoints database. A works cited page will need to successfully represent ALL sources used in the paper.
