Develop a student profile including pseudonym, age, grade, cultural and language background, interests, and learning strengths and challenges.
Develop a project that would assess reading difficulties, relevance, structural organization, and readability of literacy within a content area.
Determine methods for modeling comprehension strategies to assist students in the project.
Design opportunities during the project for students to work cooperatively, to engage in discussion groups, and to use graphic organizers.
Pair state and national literacy standards and content area standards to the project.
