Review -journal articles and scholarly books
Your paper will focus on the specific private security profession you have chosen, specifically addressing the topic area approved by your instructor. Make sure your ideas and opinions are well-represented and supported by research. Remember, a first draft is just that, a first draft. It is not meant to be as polished and complete as your final paper. If you have created a plan or outline for the paper, follow that and write your paper in its entirety.
Requirements
The information you incorporate in your course paper will be derived from a minimum of four (4) sources (peer-reviewed journal articles and scholarly books). (ATTACHED)
Format your paper using the APA Style Guide. You will find information on APA in the Course Information of this course. All sources and citations must be documented using APA style and format. A reference page is required.
The paper should be no longer than three to four (3-4) pages total (not including title page, references, and appendices).
The paper should include an intro, Section I consisting of background of the profession (education, experience, etc.), Section II consisting of need for the specialty/profession (position requirements, job outlook, advancement opportunities, etc.), and a conclusion.
