Review video “The Last Waltz.”
Please watch the video, “The Last Waltz.” This is a concert video of The Band. It is their final concert from 1978. There are numerous guest appearances and it is directed by Martin Scorsese.
Your job is to pick one aspect of the film and in detail write a 600 word paper. I am looking for descriptive persuasive writing. You may use any format styles such as MLA. Since this is a college paper please no first person. This means if you use the word “I”, “I think”, “I feel” etc. you will receive a zero on your paper. In addition please do not rehash the film with a blow by blow description. Such as, “The film starts out with this and then this happens and it is followed by this etc.”
Because of copy right law the University will not allow me to post the video on D2L. I have put one copy on reserve in the library. I personally have Comcast and you can rent it for $3.99 and sometimes it just plays for free. Another source is YouTube. Also free on Amazon Prime. Any version/edition of the film is fine to use.
