Select one specific genre book, specific magazine, or specific news source that you read with at least some regularity (book cover, a current description of the book genre and an older description, a magazine/newspaper article or cover/front of a newspaper/magazine, the main website of a news outlet or magazine), and locate two of the examples it with one being current and other being 10 or more years old. For example, one current front page of a newspaper, and a front page of the same newspaper from 10 or more years ago.
Write a journal of 2 or more full double-spaced pages with 1 inch margins and 12 point font, using paragraphs for each response, responding to the following:
Share links to the current example and the older example (if not clear share date or year each example).
Think about the evolution of books, news, and magazines. Then describe two differences between the current example of the older example which connects what you read in the chapters.
Explain one or two ways in which you think the current example is reflective of current technologies.
Describe one or two ways in which you think the two examples reflect similar or changing societal values.
