Description
Goal: Write an essay that synthesizes the three stages of learning (cognitive, associative, autonomous) with respect to your learning experience in this course.
Format Requirements: The paper is to be clear and concise and students will lose points for improper grammar, punctuation and misspelling. The paper is to be 5 pages in length. The student will automatically lose points if these limits are not followed. Journal articles and books should be referenced according to APA style (the library has a copy of the APA Manual).
Content Requirements: Based on your learning experiences in this course, write an essay synthesizing the three stages of learning. You must explain these stages and cite an example for each stage as well as describe what implications the theory has on teaching (I work at a community college teaching social science to college students). Include a self-assessment and discussion of your personal growth as an Organizational Development practitioner. This paper should be based on personal experiences as well as the readings, discussions and lecture notes from this course. A minimum of 5 peer-reviewed journal articles and/or books must be used in preparation of the paper. Here is the first reference:
