Methodology
This study is a component of a major subject of analysis on effects of strategic human
resource management on firms performances in Malaysia. The study consists of mixedmethod concurrent research methods based on several case study involving strategic human
resource management practices, but the information gathered for this particular component
of the subject is by analyzing case studies on the impact of strategic human resource
management on a firm and in-depth study of HR managers practices in a firm. Several case
study of human resource management practices is chosen, and a judgemental method was
implemented in order to identify a suitable sample of theory with enormous details of
strategic function.Based on the method applied with a list of requirements, several theories
of strategic human resource management practices is chosen for the study.
The case study which is related to this analysis is from several organizations human resource
management practices. Prior to this study of the strategic human resource management
effects, firms HR department common practices are studied and analyzed. This study consists
of the objectives of the analysis which is to identify the effect of strategic human resource
management and the effectiveness of strategic human resource management policies. The
organization’s performance after strategic human resource management implementation is
measured and analyzed for further research on strategic human resource management
capabilities.
Data from the case study was analyzed comprehensively to pinpoint the effects of strategic
human resource management on organizations in Malaysia. The study result is used to
compare the effects of strategic human resource management on an organization based on
the organization’s size and age. The precursor process was capitalized to determine for a
persistent result that propitiously positioned in an interpretive methodological structure to
classify the variables whilst conserving the richness of the data’s.
