At least five pages of your paper should be devoted to theory. In situations where there is a dearth of information in the literature of theoretical applications to deaf and hard-of-hearing people, you should critically assess and discuss the applicability of your chosen theories to this topic. Be certain to consider multiple theoretical concepts in this discussion and implications for your population.
Please discuss the importance of the issue on suicide prevention program in schools (Deaf schools and mainstream schools) among the Deaf and Hard of Hearing youth. Please discuss how the topic relates to personal and professional growth, cultural competence, self-awareness, privilege, values and ethics, and your upcoming internship (Loudoun County Public Schools with Deaf and Hard of Hearing program in Leesburg, Virginia).
