For your Film Synthesis, you wish to analyze three key scenes and how they contribute to the overall mood, meaning, or theme of your film. For each scene, you need to focus on the various chapters, such as the following: Photography, Mise en Scene, Movement, Editing, Sound, Acting, and Dramatization. While Chapter 12 covers other areas, such as story, writing, and ideology, you do not have to go into these areas in your Film Synthesis. You do not need to write Introduction and conclusion. Just focus on ANALYZE.
Therefore, for this assignment, begin brainstorming and freewriting on one key scene within your film. Your work does not have to be perfect, and you do not have to cover every area listed, but you want to demonstrate depth of knowledge of film terminology and critical thinking.
