Write an essay on the college application prompt:
“WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WORD AND WHY”
My daughter is struggling to complete the 3rd essay of her college application . The essay should answer the question above. She selected the word “why”. Although this word does not sound pretty or poetic or magical, it is a word that really describes her. She is always asking “why”.
As I child I remember one day that it was raining and she was jumping puddles when she looked up at me and asked “why does water fall from the sky”, A hundred “why’s” later, although her questions of “why have become more curious, she is always looking to know the answer to the question “why” . The essay should provide humor, but also provide a deep meaning to the word “why” ,and why she choose this word (she is struggling to find and intellectual answer to why she choose this word)). If the essay could reflect more intellectual “why” questions, A few things about my daughter:
She is 2nd in her class
(loves history and she is great at math and chemistry)
She has been playing piano for 12 years
She is adventurous and curious and very compassionate, she volunteers at the hospital and goes on mission journeys to orphanages and help others.
She loves sports ( favorite football: Redskins and Falcons)
