Civil Liberties
The Struggle for Democracy, the purpose of civil liberties (derived from the Bill of Rights) is to protect citizens from undue government interference–NOT to protect citizens from each other. Explain why this is a key distinction, and apply it to at least one issue or scenario to demonstrate its importance.
