The Analyis of Variance (ANOVA) testing technique

Question
Read the following and answer the two questions below in a single paragraph while citing at least one source:

The Analyis of Variance (ANOVA) testing technique is very usful in many applications. One of those uses could be to compare the strengths of concrete that comes from multiple sources. In the construction industry, it is often important to compare the strength of a material that is manufatured using different methods. It is reasonable to say that it might be important to compare the strength of concrete made by three or four different contractors. If we “use the t-test to compare the means of [different] samples it might become unreliable in case of more than two samples” (explorable.com). However, the ANOVA test is ideal if the data have more than two samples. In construction this could be related to comparing the quality of concrete supplied by three or four different contractors. The strentgh of concrete provided by one contractor is going to vary slightly over time. As a construction inspector its important to determine if different contractors are able to produce stronger or weaker concrete with confidence.

Are the results of the ANOVA application statistically significant?
Why are the results significant or not significant? Explain your reasoning.
