Gap of literature: In Saudi Arabia we do not have many studies which deal with service sector and broadly -speaking in human resource management area, particularly in
relation to the impact of training and development, job analysis, reward, social support, employee empowerment, employee relationship and recruitment and selection on
the employee performance and productivity through job satisfaction. Although Public service industry in general and Jeddah sea port in particular make a significant
contribution to Saudi economy , little research has been done to describe the impact of those practices on the employee performance and productivity through job
satisfaction. In this study, the researcher examine the impact of training and development , recruitment and selection ,job analysis ,reward, social support, employee
empowerment and employee relationship on the employee performance and productivity through job satisfaction in Jeddah sea port as a case of the study especially In
