This is a research/literature review paper. The aim of this paper is “What was the impact on Hawaii’s development with the immigrants of the first and second generation Okinawans.” subtopic: focusing on the economy. “Issei” is the word used for first generation Okinawan and “nisei” is the word used for second generation. I will upload some references that I have on hand, however please add additional sources. These sources MUST be academic sources only i.e..( jstor, lexis-nexus, proquest…) please summarize works and use a compassion and contrast approach for the paper.
