This chapter is about the structural changes of the economy created
by globalization (macro level) and the effects upon families in the US(micro level).
Explain how the social institution of the family is being influenced and explain how
families are coping with the trend by giving 2 positives and 2 negatives regarding
globalization for the US families. What do you think needs to be changed on the
macro level to help families more in coping/dealing with the trend?
