Description
Critically analyze the use of drones in supply chain management from the following aspects:
1- How would the use of drone benefit the firms adopting it?
2- How would it impact other chain members?
You need to clearly demonstrate that you know what are the chain members and know the difference between Supply Chain members and Supply Chain functions, and make sure you are precise in the terms you use.
3- What are the barriers of implementing it?
4- How may the chosen technology or innovation be used or developed further in the future?
Literature research
You need to identify, read, evaluate and report on a variety of sources, the majority of which would be academic sources. You are required to compare and contrast viewpoints and form your own theoretical arguments, which you will later on support with practical examples.
You need to conduct a literature review and demonstrate that an in-depth study of the topic has been undertaken
You should refer to relevant literature and include citations within the text and a reference list at the end (not a bibliography).
Include a wide range of sources (e.g. books, journal articles, business news articles)
You will use some older sources but you should also include up to date sources (2013, 2015).
Critical evaluation-Need to critically evaluate the literature
Compare and contrast researchers views and findings, after every point ask yourself however or but.
Research the contrary argument
This is what identifies your work as a researcher
Discuss advantages and disadvantages and offer a balanced discussion regarding the various concepts.
