| For this assignment, write a paper that analyzes a theory that relates specifically to your business specialization. If you do not have a specialization, choose an area of business that interests you and write about a theory in that area of business. For your chosen theory, include the following:
Outline the history of the business theory you chose, including when it was developed, who developed it, and how it has evolved over time. Summarize current research using the business theory as its framework. Present any research that contradicts the premise and foundation of the business theory. Address how this business theory contributes to the body of knowledge on the topic. Present any gaps that exist in research conducted based on this business theory. Discuss the importance of the theory in forming a foundation for future scholarly inquiry into that specific area of business. Articulate how this business theory can contribute to the good of society in terms of not only business research and scholarship, but also business practice (since you will become a scholar-practitioner when you earn your PhD-BA). Length: 4-5 pages References: Include a minimum of five scholarly resources. Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic.
