1-Kenneth Waltz, “Structural Realism After the Cold War,” International Security (Summer 2000).
2- Alexander Wend, ?”Constructing international politics” in International Security, vol. 20, no. 1, 1995.
3- Parting the South China Sea, How to Uphold the Rule of Law, By Mira Rapp-Hooper.
Each review should include the article?s complete and proper citation, the article?s thesis, the article?s methodology (how is the arguments being developed), and a critique of the author?s theoretical approach and conclusions. In writing his/her article, does the author take into consideration all potential levels of analysis and conceivable variables? Does the author synthesize the different levels of analysis with the variables well? Is the author aware of his/hers excluding specific levels of analysis? What about the empirical evidence? Are they taken into consideration, completely, partially or not at all? Does the author?s article make a contribution to the further understanding of theory and important themes in international relations? What are the strengths and weaknesses of the article? Is the article convincing or not?
